I'm John Choque, a Copenhagen-based documentary photographer specialising in elopements, proposals, and intimate weddings. Most of my couples are international. Denmark is one of the easiest countries in the world for foreigners to get legally married, and Copenhagen City Hall is where many of them choose to do it. Packages start from 3,000 DKK and cover locations across the city: City Hall, Nyhavn, the Royal Library Garden, Frederiksberg, and wherever means something to you.

A quick call before the day. I want to know how you are with cameras, what makes you uncomfortable, what you actually want from the photos. I will adapt to what you want.
Sometimes you need a bit of direction to feel comfortable and get a good photo. Sometimes you're mid-laugh or mid-sentence and I just need to be there for it. I know which is which and I switch between them all day.
Usually faster. You'll get a few favourites within a day or two because waiting is annoying. Raw files available if you want them. Need it faster, we can talk about that too.
Most of my work is in Copenhagen but not all of it. Anywhere in Denmark is fine. Europe too if you ask.
